Discovery & Programming
Discovery & Programming consists of meeting with the Administrative, Clinical, and Facilities staff to develop a list of goals, needs, and wants for the project. This information is translated into the initial estimates of funding and space requirements for the project.

This stage may involve your architect for larger projects.

This stage may include initial high level layouts or other graphical representations of the data.

Equipment Analysis & Budgeting
Existing equipment analysis is a complete review of your equipment inventory to determine the existing condition of your equipment, to assist in the determination of keeping, upgrading, or replacing your equipment based on useful remaining life.

Inventory can be provided by your facility CMMS and local staff, or upon request I can come onsite to perform the inventory for you.

Budgeting at this stage will include a more specific breakdown of costs for the movement or replacement of your equipment, as well as high level timeline estimates for delivery.

Design & Coordination

Design and Coordination consists of:

Selecting the final equipment for your project based on the previously identified needs

Preparing quotes for the final equipment selected

Coordination of final equipment layout with your Architect or Project Manager, as well as the vendors involved.

Design review with your Architect and Clinical personnel to verify that the final layout will be the best fit for your clinical workflow.

Equipment specifications, detailed mapping of interfaces, and other related information which may be in a graphical format are provided to assist in the construction and proper integration of all equipment.

Procurement

During the procurement phase, a timeline is created for proper procurement of the products to ensure they arrive onsite at the appropriate time for install and unpacking. PO's can be issued by your organization, or I can manage the PO issuance based on your purchase process.

During this phase I will assist with any purchasing situations that arise, and will provide alternate options or workarounds as needed to keep the project running smoothly to completion

Integration Management

I will assist your team with device integration, possibly leading the meetings to develop the integration plan, creating documentation to support the stages of integration from procurement and assembly to testing and verification.

Anesthesia cart integration which typically has a Physiological monitoring, gas monitoring, and EMR component

Design Services

I can utilize AutoCAD to create basic facility designs and work through them with you prior to you hiring an architect for your project. This initial design is a kickoff point for the architect to start their in depth design, and may help speed your project along.
